Introduction
Welcome to the Pokéname documentation!
What is Pokéname?
Pokéname is a versatile Discord bot designed to recognize Pokemon from images spawned by Pokemon discord bots and logs the name of the Pokemon. It makes catching Pokemon and extending your Pokemon collection extremely convenient.
Under the hood Pokéname uses Artificial Intelligence to identify Pokemon from their images and features an extensive database of around 2000 Pokemons and an accuracy rate of near 99%. This allows you conveniently and accurately identify Pokemons as soon as they spawn in one of your servers.
Although this is the main feature Pokéname provides, it has a lot of other features related to the identification of a Pokemon. It can let you know when a Pokemon you want to collect spawns in one of your server. The alerts can be customized as per various Pokemon categories as well.
Main Features
Some of the main Next.js features include:
Feature | Description |
---|---|
Identification | A file-system based router built on top of Server Components that supports layouts, nested routing, loading states, error handling, and more. |
Alerts | Client-side and Server-side Rendering with Client and Server Components. Further optimized with Static and Dynamic Rendering on the server with Next.js. Streaming on Edge and Node.js runtimes. |
Starboards | Simplified data fetching with async/await in Server Components, and an extended fetch API for request memoization, data caching and revalidation. |
Warnings | Support for your preferred styling methods, including CSS Modules, Tailwind CSS, and CSS-in-JS |
How to Use These Docs
On the left side of the screen, you'll find the docs navbar. The pages of the docs are organized sequentially, from basic to advanced, so you can follow them step-by-step when using Pokéname. However, you can read them in any order or skip to the pages that apply to your use case.
On the right side of the screen, you'll see a table of contents that makes it easier to navigate between sections of a page. If you need to quickly find a page, you can use the search bar at the top, or the search shortcut (Ctrl+K
or Cmd+K
).
To get started, checkout the Installation guide.
Pre-Requisite Knowledge
Although our docs are designed to be beginner-friendly, we need to establish a baseline so that the docs can stay focused on Pokéname functionality. We'll make sure to provide links to relevant documentation whenever we introduce a new concept or refer to a third party service that is not associated with Pokéname.
To get the most out of our docs, it's recommended that you are familiar with Discord. Play around the application and get familiar with the interface. You should also be familiar with the working of the Pokemon bots you use. Please refer to their documentation for more information.
Accessibility
For optimal accessibility when using a screen reader while reading the docs, we recommend using Firefox and NVDA, or Safari and VoiceOver.
